Spectacles climb the fashion food chain

I’m all for checking into the latest trends and hip happenings from the Couture scene so I am wondering how on Earth did this come about. We currently live in a world where spectacle wearing is for those who suffer from an eye sight deficiency so imagine my surprise when I spot two of my friends wearing lens-less glasses claiming it looks good on them.

Now to be clear I’m not saying that people who wear spectacles because of the disability look bad or anything but celebrating it as a fashion trend is basically similar to saying that it is cool for people to walk around in casts. Not that I am fully against the trend of wearing lens-=less spectacles but my mind is trying to make sense of it all.

Tribal fashion takes over editorial fashion 2013.
